i have a strange fascination with ephemeral objects and performance art.  i like them because they remind me that we are not forever, they mirrors reality.  {my senior thesis} was a type based installation with ice.  but even though i love that which is transient, it is good to remember how things begin and the beauty they have while still present.  seeing the reversal of time and the overturning of decay has a great impact for me.
